Hello everyone, my name is Claus Ranswill. I am 47, married with three children. We have two boys 17 and 19 and a daughter 12 years old. I am a life insurance salesman and writer.  Almost everything you would want to know about me is found at http://www.ranswill.com/ .

 I am the only Ranswill in the world, my mother made up the name, so I have always felt the need to do something important and try to be the best at whatever I do.

Being a perfectionist is a curse because I am always disappointed at others because nobody including myself ever measures up to my expectations.

 I have been married over 18 years, we have been together for over 27 years.

I have had many stupid, boring mundane jobs which provided little or no satisfaction. I am working on a screenplay and have ideas for many books, etc. but have been too busy trying to make a living and pay bills to really pursue my writing dream. I have worked since 1980 and have worked in grocery stores, construction, the Indio library for 10 years and many other places. 

I subsequently received 3 AA’s from COD, College of the Desert in Palm desert from 2000-2003 and a BA from Cal State Northridge in Communications Studies from 2003-2005.  I am currently enrolled at University of Phoenix attaining my  MBA, anticipated graduation May 2011.
